THE CHALLENGE
The challenge is to fly non-stop over a distance of some 650 miles plus, whilst visiting the highest peaks in the United Kingdom from DAWN TILL DUSK. This will be an unofficial world record on a number of fronts from the longest distance flown none stop to the greatest endurance within a closed circuit. A non-stop flight time in the region of 12 hours with over 200 miles over sea.
I will now be accompanied on the challenge by two other pilots Ronnie Erlam and Dave Gabbot. To sponsor Ronnie click the link below. www.justgiving.com/ronalderlam
THE REASON
Everyone knows somebody who has been affected by Cancer in some way or another. It's so easy to become detached thinking it will never happen to you or your loved ones. Whilst not effected directly myself a close family member has been. Acting as a wake up call for myself you start asking what can I do to help? Cancer research do a crucial job and are making advances all the time but they need your money. My intention is to raise money from the flight to help fund research and hopefully save lives. Cancer turns lives upside down so lets do our bit help!
